5c Metalworks is the work of Missouri engraver and silversmith Dawn Cline.

Every piece is created by hand, one at a time, using traditional engraving and silversmithing techniques.  The work is rooted in the American West—not simply as a place, but a tradition, a set of values, and a way of carrying stories forward.

My medium is memory.  Silver is the tool I use to preserve it.

I create pieces inspired by people, places, animals, and the things we carry with us.  Some are quiet.  Some are bold.  All are meant to last.
